Why Work At Social Media Helper?

Social Media Helper is a small company.  We started out via word-of-mouth and have since realized that it just isn’t cutting it anymore.  We needed to grow!  The problem now is that we’re growing out of our shoes faster than we can buy new ones!  It is a good problem to have.

We’ve got a good enough grasp on the management side for now, but are always looking for people that can do the jobs we list as offering, being a “social media-ite“.  We don’t have an office building, we’re 100% remote right now so being able to accomplish tasks on your own time without direct supervision is key to these positions.

We’re still small enough to be nimble in the market, but big enough to deliver the right services to our customers.  In so doing, we realize the level of service that is needed to get the project done.  We’re also looking for innovative people to take our service to the next level as a business and the social media culture as a whole.  If you’ve got these talents, we’d certainly like to talk to you.

Working Virtually

The key to success in our business is the ability to work from anywhere at any time.  There is no 8-5 job in this environment.  You can pick your own work hours provided you’re doing the tasks assigned to you.  The key is staying focused for a lot of people.

It is easy to get distracted when you’re working your own hours on your own time, but we’ve proven that it can be done and made into something successful! You need to have your own computer, high speed internet, and the desire to deliver results and meet deadlines as assigned.  We seem to hit very well in the “virtual assistant” market, so if you have experience there, please do contact us with your resume!

We’re a Pretty Neat Bunch of People

We’re not micro-managers, we’re easy to get along with and easy to discuss things with.  That’s the secret to keeping good tabs on all our virtual employees.  We don’t want to you to feel like you can’t ask us something just because we’re 5,000 miles away.  We’re online 12-18 hours of the day and keep PDA’s near our beds at night.

We want to have an open and honest working relationship and in so doing allow you to grow as a person as well.  We value your thoughts and ideas for improving our business model and will gladly give you credit where credit is due if you discover something we’ve missed!
